Kerstin Kopal

Kerstin Kopal is a research assistant and PhD student at the Institute of Mobility and Urban Planning, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, where she is currently researching the influences of the built environment on health and mobility behavior and writing her PhD thesis. Ms. Kopal has worked both in an urban planning office and in academia. Ms. Kopal earned a bachelor’s degree in spatial planning from the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), Germany, and a master’s degree in spatial planning at TU Dortmund University, Germany.
