ICT EVOLUTION IN EGYPT

Knowledge is the main driver in our global society, much more than land, capital, or labor. Having a good base of knowledge means that a firm or a society can start leveraging that base to create further knowledge and increase its advantage over its competitors. Egypt, over time, has witnessed massive information flows through different means. However, prior to 1985, Egypt was rich in data but poor in information -- and known for bureaucratic red tape.
