J. David Gibson brings more than 21 years of experience with EDS to his role as a Distinguished SE and Enterprise Architect. He has 18-plus years of client-facing experience providing technology strategy, technical merger and acquisition/assessment consulting, technical sales support, and architecting of technical solutions from inception to implementation. Mr. Gibson has been involved with corporate initiatives such as promoting the commercialization of EDS' technologies, supporting the EDS Fellows and Distinguished SE organizations, and providing patent engineering services to EDS Legal Affairs. Currently, he is an Enterprise Architect in the EDS Architect Office in support of the transportation and energy industries. Having a passion for technology commercialization, Mr. Gibson obtained a master's degree in science and technology commercialization in 2001 from the Innovation Creativity Capital (IC2) Institute at The University of Texas at Austin. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in the discipline of software engineering by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
