Jeffrey L. Worthington is a Senior Scientist and Senior Manager at Ascendigm, LLC. During his 20-year career in IT, Mr. Worthington has served as Principal and Managing Director of the Internet Practice for ICON Solutions, a company that is now part of Answerthink, and as the founding CTO for iMedium, a Safeguard Scientifics company, among other positions. The various projects he has architected and managed have created innovative and effective IT solutions for many Fortune 500 and other companies, including SmithKline, Sun Oil, Becton-Dickinson, and Merck. While at iMedium, he developed intellectual property that led to the filing of two patents.

Mr. Worthington has taught at Villanova University, in addition to guest lecturing at Pennsylvania State University and the Executive MBA program at Villanova. He has authored white papers and technical articles, lectured at seminars, and served in technical organizations including the Open Buying on the Internet (OBI) consortium and the Advisory Committee of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Mr. Worthington earned his BA from Temple University and has completed MBA coursework at Villanova.
