Mr. Virtue is an industry veteran, previously holding several chief information security or chief security officer positions. He has extensive experience in various regulated industries and working in publicly traded global corporations, privately held businesses, and government agencies with a focus in financial services, energy, healthcare, management consulting, and technology. Mr. Virtue is an industry-recognized innovator, award-winning thought leader, trusted board advisor, speaker, and author of several books and articles.

He has a proven track record with implementing innovative risk-based solutions that support business objectives and offer business value, while maintaining compliance requirements and proactively managing technology and business risk. Mr. Virtue holds numerous professional- and technical-level certifications in the areas of cybersecurity, fintech, cloud computing, risk management, compliance/audit, fraud prevention, physical security, and technology management. He earned an executive master of science degree in risk management from New York University’s Stern School of Business, an executive master of science degree in information systems from George Washington University’s School of Business, and a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice with a concentration in security management from Northeastern University.
