Viktor Ohnjec
Viktor Ohnjec has more than 25 years of experience in global sales and marketing of software development products and services. He is currently vice president of sales for QuarterSoft, Inc., a firm specializing in the commercialization of software intellectual assets. Previously, he was vice president of business development for worldwide global services at Genesis Development Corporation. At Genesis, he was instrumental in the development of InsureTrack, a process for transitioning large insurance companies to component technology. After Genesis's sale to IONA, Mr. Ohnjec served as vice president of global services business development. He has been chairman for the Object Management Group's Financial Domain Task Force and Insurance Working Group. Through his work at the insurance industry consortium ACORD, Mr. Ohnjec also helped to create and define ObjX, the primary insurance industry interoperability standard for property and casualty software. He has presented at many conferences and has published numerous articles and reports covering business and technical topics for IT managers. Prior to Genesis, Mr. Ohnjec worked with Vayda Consulting as vice president of business development and was instrumental in Vayda's acquisition by Platinum Technologies.
