In this issue, we look at what makes organizations vulner­able to cyberattacks and how countermeasures can be used to increase an organization’s ability to respond and recover, thus improving cyber resilience. We also focus in on some basic issues that hinder the delivery of resilient systems.

In the near term, organizations need to increase the capabilities of their security professionals as part of building a more resilient cybersecurity organization.
