Lionel A. Galway is a Senior Statistician at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California, USA. He has a Ph.D. in statistics from Carnegie Mellon University and has done graduate work in physics and neurobiology. His research at RAND has focused on military logistics for the US Air Force, Army, and Navy; military personnel issues; and statistical aspects of a broad variety of public policy problems.
