Simon Orrell became one of three Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coaches in Canada in 2010 and has been working with individuals, teams, and leaders to help transform oil and gas, financial services, manufacturing, and construction businesses. His career in product development and project execution has spanned a multitude of domains, and his background as engineer and recovering project manager provides him with a pragmatic approach to product, team, and organizational evolution. Mr. Orrell specializes in the initiation and ongoing coaching of leadership and Agile principles, values, and techniques within organizations with an emphasis on product and portfolio management techniques for both colocated and distributed teams. He focuses on applying Scrum principles in broader business contexts, and his groundbreaking work on coaching a large energy company to apply Scrum values and principles to construction megaprojects helped produce extraordinary outcomes.
