Tien-Shih Hsieh is Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Massachusetts–Dartmouth. His current research areas relate to the application of machine learning technologies in corporate ethical decisions, earnings management, tax avoidance, auditing, and corporate social responsibility. Dr. Hsieh earned a master’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champion and a PhD in accounting from Bentley University. He can be reached at thsieh@umassd.edu.
