According to a research study by KM expert Frances Horibe, nearly two-thirds of the world's workforce can now be classified as "knowledge workers," meaning that they produce more value with their heads than their hands [1]. For the last decade, management consultants and change agents alike have been advocating knowledge management, some with more success than others.
