Henning Wilts is Director of the Circular Economy (CE) Division at Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, Germany, and serves as Professor for CE at HafenCity University Hamburg, Germany. His research focuses on transformation processes toward a circular economy; specifically, how linear processes can be transformed into circular value creation as quickly as possible, why we haven’t already become a circular economy, and how policymakers can overcome key obstacles. Dr. Wilts coordinates various research projects in the areas of circular textiles, packaging waste prevention, and zero waste strategies.
