Joyce Norris Montanari
Joyce Norris-Montanari is an expert in a variety of data warehousing activities. She has managed and implemented data warehouses and operational data stores for restaurants, telecommunications, government, medical organizations, pharmaceuticals, financial institutions, oil and gas, insurance, R&D, and retail environments. She has also participated in the design, development, implementation, and assessment of operational data stores, data warehouses, and data marts. Ms. Norris-Montanari has facilitated requirements gathering sessions to ensure correct delivery of information, created data models, implemented metadata solutions, and gathered database sizing information. She excels in her knowledge of ETL products and metadata and has assisted client companies with ETL and metadata tool selection.
In addition, Ms. Norris-Montanari has a strong background in traditional system development in the mainframe, client-server, and Internet environments. She speaks frequently at data warehouse conferences, contributes to several trade publications, and wrote Data Warehousing and E-Business with W.H. Inmon, Dan Meers, and R.H. Terdeman.
