Peter Kovari
Peter Kovari is deeply committed to make technology work for businesses, and solve their problems by blending technical innovation and commercial viability. The main focus of Mr. Kovari’s consulting work is digital transformation strategy and execution, enterprise architecture, technology auditing, technical debt assessment and due diligence.
Mr. Kovari has a wealth of experience developing and executing technology strategy for a diverse range of organizations, and applying enterprise architecture (EA) principles to projects of all sizes. He offers a unique combination of strategic and pragmatic approaches to problem solving, leading organizations to achieve quick successes while maintaining their strategic paths.
Mr. Kovari gained most of his international experience in the US and UK, consulting predominantly in the financial services sector. He has worked in various roles over the years, from project manager to consulting IT architect, head of IT, and recently co-founder and CTO at a tech startup. Mr. Kovari’s client and project engagements have spanned a wide range of disciplines, including IT strategy, EA, business transformation, multichannel commerce, mobile- and cloud-based solutions, information security, and systems integration.
He spent several years at IBM assisting clients with technology adoption before focusing on mission-critical banking and payment systems at Lloyds Bank and MasterCard. Mr. Kovari is co-author of multiple books with IBM on IT architecture and security, among other technical subjects. He holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSc in engineering from Hungary.
