Ralph Hughes
Ralph Hughes serves as Chief Systems Architect for Ceregenics, a DW/BI firm. As one of the world’s leading authorities on the methods, tools, and modeling techniques that enable incremental design and rapid delivery of enterprise BI systems, Mr. Hughes has led multiple BI programs and projects for Fortune 500 companies in aerospace, telecom, and pharmaceuticals. In addition, he is a certified ScrumMaster, a PMI project management professional, and a faculty member at The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI). He has coached more than 1,000 BI professionals worldwide in the discipline of incremental and iterative delivery of large data management systems.
As the creator of the Agile Data Warehousing method and author of the book by that same name, Mr. Hughes specializes in the art of getting projects started quickly with streamlined requirements management techniques and then proving their success with automated and continuous integration testing. He is also a frequent keynote speaker and instructor at business analytics conferences, providing architectural reviews and program roadmaps for data warehousing departments worldwide.
