Stephen Burr is an enterprise architect for the University of Kentucky (UK) where he focuses on Big Data, in-memory analytics, data visualization, and information dashboards. Mr. Burr led the implementation of SAP HANA in-memory analytics appliance in March 2012 to increase student success rates at UK. Mr. Burr has over 17 years' experience in the IT industry and has held roles in enterprise architecture, analytics, leadership, management, and customer service. He is expected to receive his MBA from the University of Kentucky in Spring 2014. Mr. Burr is a member of the UK Federal Credit Union Board of Directors and an alumni advisor for the Kappa Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. In his spare time, Mr. Burr is a husband and father, UK sports fan, and Taekwondo Black Belt.
