Tiffany Maldonado is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Marketing, and Information Systems, College of Business Administration, Sam Houston State University, where she is also Assistant Director of the Center for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in Business Education. Her research focuses on strategic leadership, with a particular emphasis on a holistic model of leadership in which all aspects of the leader are considered. Dr. Maldonado’s interests encompass four areas: strategic leadership, humility, culture, and positive organizational scholarship. She earned a PhD in management from the University of Houston. Researchers

Tanny Carmona served as an undergraduate research assistant at Sam Houston State University, where she developed a theory for the impact of humble leadership on inclusive environments. Her research earned an inaugural award from Sam Houston State University’s Honors College Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. Ms. Carmona earned a bachelor of business administration degree in management information systems from Sam Houston State University. 

Jordan Jessup served as an undergraduate research assistant at Sam Houston State University, where he developed and tested empirical models of humble leadership behaviors. Mr. Jessup earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and corrections from Sam Houston State University.

Montserrat Sanz Mondragon served as a graduate research assistant at Sam Houston State University, where she developed theories on inclusive environments both within and external to the organization. Ms. Mondragon is currently completing her MBA studies in the College of Business Administration at Sam Houston State University.
