Joseph Feller
Dr. Joseph Feller is Professor at the University College Cork (UCC), where he coordinates the PhD program in business information systems, supervises postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers, and conducts research. He previously served as Editor of Cutter Benchmark Review.
Prior to joining UCC, Dr. Feller taught at the Ringling College of Art and Design. His research focuses on collective intelligence action and resources phenomena, such as open source software, open content and design, crowdsourcing and crowdfunding, open innovation and innovation marketplaces, open scholarship and citizen science, and social media collaboration platforms. Dr. Feller has published five books, more than 90 academic papers, and more than 120 practitioner articles and reports. His research has been cited over 1,700 times in academic literature. Dr. Feller has directed various international research projects funded by Irish, EU, and US bodies and by private industry and government partners. He is a frequent presenter and panelist at international conferences and has been invited to deliver keynotes, seminars, workshops, and policy briefings by numerous industry organizations, private firms, NGOs, and Irish and European government bodies.
