Malni Kumarathunga is a PhD candidate at the School of Computer, Data, and Mathematical Sciences at Western Sydney University, Australia, while working as a lecturer and research assistant. She has worked as a software engineer in the IT industry for more than eight years. Ms. Kumarathunga’s research interests include the application of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts for real-world problems.
