Catherine Drumheller

Catherine Drumheller is Senior Advisor at GHD. Her background includes leading climate-related water security evaluations, blue-green infrastructure benefit evaluations, and applied social-ecological systems theory. Ms. Drumheller has extensive experience in creating methodologies for implementing holistic and sustainable development projects, utilizing social-ecological systems analysis and scenario-based planning. She has conducted climate-related market analyses and practice reviews of climate finance mechanisms, including parametric insurance, green bonds, blue bonds, and blended finance instruments, as well as mechanisms for national adaption planning. Ms. Drumheller played a key role in developing a resilience-focused water infrastructure program, incorporating an implementation and lifecycle approach tailored for urban and peri-urban regions in low- to middle-income countries.
