Karen Neville
Karen Neville is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Information Systems at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. She is founder and Managing Director of UCC’s Centre for Resilience and Business Continuity. In 2013, Dr. Neville was awarded a €3.5 million European Union grant for the Secure Health, Emergency, Learning, and Planning (S-HELP) project for the development of decision support tools for EM practitioners. She successfully completed the project in 2017 and is currently commercializing the tools for EM training and response. Dr. Neville has generated over €14 million in income for UCC, has been published in top business and IS journals, has been awarded eight national teaching awards, and is currently pursuing grants from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program.
