Ana Paula Valente Pereira is a founding partner of WhatEver Consulting Group, a firm that helps customers to adopt an integrated set of standard IT processes, promoting open innovation and enterprise agility. She is also involved as a committer in the Eclipse Process Framework project. Ms. Pereira founded WhatEverSoft, a spinoff, in 1998, making it the first Sun Authorized Java Center established in Portugal. As CTO, she led the software engineering process group and the architecture in some awarded innovative projects (JavaOne 2000/2005; GSM World Congress 2000/2001). Prior to that, she worked for more than 10 years in R&D at the Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores (INESC), researching process modeling and object-oriented software methodologies.
