Andrew Maher
Andrew Maher specializes in enterprise architecture, business intelligence, metadata management, systems integration, knowledge management and solutions. In his thirty-plus years in the computer industry, he has designed and invented a wide range of software and hardware products. Mr. Maher is a veteran of several corporate advisory councils and a featured speaker at technical meetings.
Mr. Maher is a consultant and domain expert on a variety of projects for a variety of clients. He is currently designing and implementing standards and practices for creating a “managed reporting environment” for an international commodities conglomerate. He recently designed, defined, and built a performance and measurement reporting and console interface for a client’s object broker middleware. Mr. Maher works with executives, key customers, and/or vendors to plan and implement future product direction, partnerships, joint ventures, and help them think both inside and outside the box.
Mr. Maher’s expertise includes building methodologies and tools for knowledge and information representation, enterprise architecture studies, and metadata management; designing and organizing interdepartmental/interdisciplinary development projects; architecting and implementing databases, data communication, wireless networks, fiber optic data, packet-based telephony, and security; and managing computer hardware, software, and operating systems design and implementation, specializing in the integration of disparate and legacy technologies. He is current on code/solutions in a wide range of languages, topology and access methods.
