Muhammad Usman is a Senior Lecturer and expert in quantum computing and related technologies in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His theoretical work has made significant contributions in the development of quantum hardware components based on atomic qubits in silicon. Dr. Usman has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and delivered several invited talks at national and international meetings. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the US Fulbright Fellowship, the Germany DAAD Research Fellowship, the University of Melbourne’s Best Early Career Research Award, and an Elsevier Finalist of Rising Stars in Computational Materials Science.
