Alessia Falsarone

Alessia Falsarone is a sustainable finance investor who discovered her passion for the science of impact while studying mathematics at Stanford University. Her work bridges the gap between financial innovation, risk management, and sustainability. In recognition of her innovative vision for business and society, Ms. Falsarone was awarded the 2023 NACD Directorship 100 for Boardroom Governance as a non-executive director in the UK and EU. A fellow of the Aspen Institute and adjunct faculty at the University of Chicago, she is a dedicated advocate for the role of impact science in business education, actively contributing to educational initiatives across the Asia–Pacific region, Latin America, and the US. Ms. Falsarone is author of the best-seller The Impact Challenge: Reframing Sustainability for Businesses. She earned a master of science degree in financial mathematics from the University of Stanford; an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a bachelor of science degree in economics from the Università Bocconi, Italy.
