Charles Boulton
Charles Boulton is a Senior Associate at Arthur D Little (ADL) and a member of ADL’s Technology & Innovation Management practice. He focuses on R&D management, technology strategy, and change management, especially at the interface between product management and technical development. Previously, Dr. Boulton worked for a global controls company as an interim R&D Director and Product Director. Other research strategy and product development management clients have been in transport, consumer electronics, power, food and beverages, and cosmetics. Prior to joining ADL, he worked in technology and product design for Cambridge Consultants in projects as diverse as ship control systems, satellite control, and sausage-making machinery. Dr. Boulton has a PhD in control systems engineering from Cambridge University, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, a BE degree in mechanical engineering from the Unversity of Western Australia, and a BSc (with honors) degree in psychology from the Open University.
