Leona O’Brien is a Senior Regulatory Technology Researcher in the Department of Business Information Systems at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. Her research interests include semantic technologies, financial regulation, and regtech/fintech. Ms. O’Brien has been widely published, has collaborated on several regtech innovations, and has been awarded nearly US $500K in research funding.
