Virginia Pillmann is a Research Assistant at Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, Germany, in the Material Cycles Unit of the Circular Economy Division. She is pursuing a dual master’s degree in political science with a focus on sustainable transformation and international relations centering on Southeast Europe. Previously, Ms. Pillmann worked on the project planning and implementation of Solar Decathlon Europe, an international university competition for sustainable, resource-saving, and energy-efficient construction.
