Hamdy Abdelaty is Entrepreneurship & Innovation Manager at the Energy Innovation Center (EIZ), Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus–Senftenberg (BTU), Germany. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Innovation: Organization and Management, Sustainability, and Journal of Innovation & Knowledge. Dr. Abdelaty has also presented his work at prominent international conferences, such as Academy of Management Annual Meeting and World Open Innovation Conference. He earned a PhD in open innovation and SME innovation performance from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, followed by three years of postdoctoral research in innovation policy and sustainable transitions, also at Freie Universität Berlin.
