Ed McPherson
Edwin M. McPherson has more than 40 years of experience building consulting services and designing and building advanced technology solutions for clients in the electronics, insurance, healthcare, financial, computer software, legal, and retail industries. Mr. McPherson is currently a lecturer at Kennesaw State University (KSU) and Operations Manager for the International Center for Innovation in Technologies (ICIT). Prior to joining KSU, he retired after 15 years as a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he helped clients with IT performance improvement approaches in the area of software development and implementation, outsourcing/offshoring, merger and acquisition approaches/integration, developing and setting up shared service operations, and implementing image and document management processing. Most recently he served clients by designing, developing, and implementing enterprise security solutions. These projects have involved developing enterprise security strategies; building business cases for implementing the strategies; determining the vendor tools to be implemented; supporting implementation of the selected tools; developing security and privacy policies, processes, training, and awareness programs to support the security strategy; and building the organizations' incident response and forensics capabilities. Mr. McPherson has a JD from Woodrow Wilson College of Law and an MS in information and computer science and a BS in industrial management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
