Tom Acton is Head of School of Business & Economics and a lecturer in business information systems at National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway, Ireland. His research interests are cloud computing, decision support systems, and mobility. Dr. Acton has written several journal publications, book chapters, and conference papers. Recently he served as Vice Dean for Teaching & Learning, Associate Head of Teaching & Learning for the School of Business & Economics, and Head of the Business Information Systems discipline at NUI. Dr. Acton has also served as Associate Editor on several journals, including European Journal of Information Systems and Journal of Theoretical and Applied E-Commerce Research.
