Donna Fitzgerald
Donna Fitzgerald has more than 20 years of experience managing a variety of functional areas within Fortune 500 companies. Donna is also currently a principle with Knowth Consulting. Previously, she held positions as Sr. Director of Product Management for a portfolio management software company and Project Director for the Oracle Projects Development Group. She has also held a variety of senior management positions in finance for Intel, Rolm, and Sun Microsystems, where she actively managed their project portfolios.
Ms. Fitzgerald is also the cofounder of the NewGrange Center for Project Management, a nonprofit professional society with worldwide membership. She is the creator of the Nimble Approach to Project Management and regularly writes articles that explore the practical details of agile project management. Ms. Fitzgerald is a frequent contributor to a number of project management publications and has presented numerous times at Project World in the US and Europe. Her work on the uses of chaos theory in project management has been included in the book Managing Complexity in Organizations: A View in Many Directions by Michael R. Lissack.
Ms. Fitzgerald has a degree in economics from UC Davis and an MBA from CSU Sacramento.
